The United States Department of State arranged for delegate  Ragchaa Uvgu a director of a Mongolian television station to visit with artist Lawrence Kinney and artist-writer Mary Ouimette-Kinney, as part of their International Visitor Leadership Program. The visit took place on July 3, 2010 at the Kinney's home studios.

An interpreter aided the  delegate, as he discussed art as a means of communication in the global community. Communication will continue between the Kinneys and Uvgu.
