“Guitar Rocker” sculpture by Lawrence Kinney
Kinney's sculpture, "Guitar Rocker", combined
elements remniscent of finely crafted furniture-and
musical instruments. It was carved out of mahogany,
oak, and maple woods. The guitar was exhibited
at the Roycroft Inn, in East Aurora for approximately
two months before it was auctioned at WNED TV
station, as part of the Guitars for Hope fundraising
event, which supported the charities of NFL football
player Jim Kelly.
